They have very good flatbread pizza and everything is fresh and healthy.
I've been going to Mayo since 2014 for several different issues. I can honestly say these doctors are the absolute best you will find anywhere. I've been treated for bone growths in my hips after a doctor at a different hospital replaced both my hips. I've had stomach surgery that only a handful of doctors in this country know how to do. This was the real important one because it allows me to eat normally. I'm here now following up on neck fusion surgery. I'm planning another surgery here down the road to remove the bone growth around my hips while having my right hip replaced a 2nd time. Every office visit has been completely professional and every desk person has been very helpful. All Mayo buildings are always very clean from the offices to the halls to the rest rooms. Over the years I've spent around a week combined recovering from procedures overnight in the hospital. I've only had an issue with one nurse and that's because she didn't want to give me my prescribed pain medicine when I needed it. After less than an hour I was able to get the medicine I needed from a different nurse. Other than that I could not have been treated better by everyone at Mayo. Also, they have very good flatbread pizza sold at one of their cafes in case you get tired of hospital food.
My wife has started receiving treatment here and I have been with her. The facilities, Doctors and staff are all top notch. If you have a difficult to diagnose condition I would highly suggest coming here if you are able to. They are also very prompt and do the testing on site.
Shoutout to our local community heroes! I am very blessed to receive quality healthcare here at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville. I had to take a pick a healthcare system to become a medical safety net for multi-faceted conditions. Mayo has everything in their wheelhouse. The patient portal makes everything visible to not only to all the medical staff but also the patient. I feel that I have a good view of my healthcare plan and that the answers manifest quickly as this well is a well oiled machine. There seems to be positive feeling of HOPE throughout the hospital and clinics. I love having my primary physician at the Mayo Clinic and all my specialists as well. They are very proactive about patient education and I appreciate that a lot. Example: Don't use "doctor Google" to try to make a sense of the uniqueness of your health or your loved ones health. Mayo is the "doctor's doctor". God bless these heroes!
