My Physician’s Assistant, Helena Gaitan, PA, is the single best medical professional involved in my care. In 61 years, I have never encountered a more professional, intelligent, warm, and genuinely caring clinician. Her detailed knowledge of my case, proactive thinking, and absolute reliability are the reasons I actually look forward to appointments. Her excellence is also a credit to my physician of 19 years, Dr. Cary, whose judgment in choosing such an exceptional asset is demonstrated through her consistently outstanding care. Steven
As I sit in this waiting room, I am so disappointed with Jax Spine. I’ve been a patient here for over 12 years. I absolutely loved this office when there was a patient-doctor connection. The office used to run a little slower, but it was well worth the time to have care that was specialized toward the patient. Now it is so corporatized. I feel like I’m on an assembly line for care with the primary mission to milk every dime out of the insurance company while getting me out of the office as quickly as possible. I would go elsewhere, but I feel stuck as they manage my pain pump. I’m not sure about the logistics of going somewhere else.
Everyone is wonderful. Dr. Carey is so sweet and kind. I think he might have daughters because he was sweet to me when I was upset and in pain.
My absolute only complaint is that I wish they'd just give you light sedation bc xansx takes way too long to wear off. Also if yhe transforaminal Epidural hurts a lot. At least my left side did. Like I got hit by lightning or stuck my toe in an electrical outlet. Lol
