About Mindful Motion Massage
Mindful Motion Massage in Jacksonville Beach is a locally owned, women-owned, and massage therapist-owned boutique studio deeply rooted in the community. They offer a clinical yet holistic approach to bodywork, catering to a diverse range of needs, from working with cancer survivors to supporting geriatric clients, children, athletes, and those in pre and post-operative phases. The studio believes in the power of bodywork to support mental health, providing relief from conditions such as depression, PTSD, anxiety, and stress-related nervous system dysfunction. Clients have praised the excellent massage therapists, such as Kiara, who use cupping, hot stones, and other techniques to provide relief and improve mobility, even in cases where other treatments had limited success. The office may be a bit tricky to find, but the relaxing atmosphere and accommodating staff, like Ally, make for a wonderful experience. Clients highly recommend the boutique, especially Megan, for her skill in addressing various needs, from injury rehabilitation to chronic pain management.
I’ve received massages from both Ally and Megan. Both are outstanding. Since starting with Megan in April my body has very much been healed with literally little to no pays after decades of sports accidents and living an extremely active life. I’m very happy with the services here.
It was great. I had shoulder surgery about 4 months ago. After the surgery, I had a lot of restrictive movement. I had tried all type of meds. I tried therapy bands. I tried PT. All of those items helped a little bit.
I thought I would try this thing called massage therapy. I thought it would be a souped up basic massage. I had nothing to loose.
Kiara worked on my shoulder for the longest time. She kept pushing it to the limit. She applied cups, oil, hot stones, etc.
I now have the best movement in my shoulder that I have had in months. She accomplished more in that two hour session than everything else combined over four months.
I loved my relaxing massage experience at Mindful Motion! I had Ally and she was very kind and helpful. She addressed my concerns with certain allergies and provided accommodations to minimize reflux while on the table. The office is a bit tricky to find - it's in a building right on 3rd St that looks much like a small, old-fashioned apartment building. I'd recommend arriving a bit earlier just to have enough time to locate the office.
