After a recommendation from a friend to try pilates for a change in my workout routines and a slight back issue I signed up for some private sessions with Amy. I could tell a difference after the first class as I knew she was targeting the area I was needing to work on. Her knowledge and skill set of the body, how it moves and needs to move along with teaching someone how to move on the reformer or tables are so impressive. I've never done pilates and while it looks/seems intimidating she is such a great teacher as she guides you through the session. I just left the best pilates class I've taken in over twenty years! Leigh is a very knowledgeable, patient and instructive teacher. She knows the human body and what each student needs and is capable of. Every class is different, well thought through and challenging. Leigh is a true professional.
Going to see Amy was the absolute best thing I've ever done for pain management. She quickly diagnosed my injury, provided instant relief through movement and stretching, and then taught me how to manage the recovery on my own.
