I had a great experience with the new owner of Dog House, Ally. I provided feedback after my last visit that my pup’s tail was cut too short. I am so happy to have a salon learn and meet my expectations. Great service and communication!
Although our last dog, Sophie, passed in April 2023, I go all the way back to 1977 with Jim Rojas, whose business, The Dog House, was then located on the opposite side of Third St. During those 47 years (minus s 25-year hiatus when we lived in New Orleans, then Houston), Jim has provided at least 5 of our dogs—the most recent being Cosby, Dolly, & Sophie—with his exceptional expertise as a groomer & unofficial canine psychologist. I miss seeing Jim and having dogs who benefited greatly from his care and kindness. Not surprisingly, I highly recommend him.
Was a super nice guy, just came in to pick up a firearm I had shipped there. Ended up staying and talking about his time in the military. Thanks for your service! Will use this shop again!
