Long story short, we had a 24 (!) year old air conditioner and it wasn't working. My husband is a DIY-er, so after some research he seemed to discover what the problem was and a fix for it, a new, different type of motor. We discussed it with David, who had said motor on his truck! All fixed!
Any other AC guy would not have even considered anything other than replacing the unit. That's because they send out a guy to diagnose, but that guy is really there to sell you the most expensive thing he will get the most commission on, a new unit. David Moss Air Conditioning is hands down the best! David, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. We had an issue with our older A/C unit, and he walked us through several options—including a very reasonably priced repair. Ultimately, we decided to replace the unit and upgrade some of the ducting, and we were thoroughly impressed with how smooth and efficient the entire process was. If you have any A/C needs, do yourself a favor and call these guys first. Highly recommended!
