Wonderful place. Long standing operation run by a local couple. Did a walk in and got a friendly greeting from both owners and each of the waiting customers. The lady barber gave me a very good cut, asking me for input on what I wanted throughout the whole process. She did exactly what I asked and upon returning to our rental in Anna Maria, I was told by my companion that it was, “The best haircut you have ever had”.Highly recommended. Great place with all sorts of memorabilia and reading material, friendly owners and customer base, and a VERY reasonable cost.Buy local, you won’t regret it. The Holmes Beach Barber Shop is my yearly 'pilgrimage' when I am on the island. You wanna talk about a great haircut? They will not disappoint you! You can also get all the local news there also! I highly recommend them!

My son and I went for a quick $12 cut and got great conversation as a bonus. Enjoyable old school barber shop, small venue, not able to do shaves, but you can get a quick haircut that won’t disappoint.
