I recently hired Alford and Sons Marine to install rocks to support my seawall. The work they did was outstanding and it was at a very reasonable price. The communication from both Jerry and Joey was great during the entire project. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and stayed on the proposed timeline. (That sounds pretty straight forward but it is hard to find people to do that these days.) I would highly recommend using them for any Marine construction project that you have. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Alford and sons marine construction recently repaired my boathouse and replaced the boatlift with one that could hold a much bigger boat. They did a great job. When the boathouse was originally built, 6 of the 8 pilings were leaning badly. They straightened all six of the cockeyed piles (this was amazing, I didn’t think they could be straightened- but they did it). Theupgraded my boatlift from a one motor system to a 2 motor boatlift and reinforced it for a bigger boat.
They were highly skilled, honest, hard working and respectful of my property. I needed the job done in a hurry and they worked with me to get the job done on schedule while still ensuring it was done perfect. They did an amazing job on installing my new boatlift and repairing my boathouse.
Overall I highly recommend Alford and sons marine construction and will be using them for any future work I may have.

I hired Alford & Son to replace and build a combination seawall/retainer wall project on my East Bay property. First off this was a difficult project. The previous owner had neglected the property leading to erosion. Jerry and his crew came in and took on the task of rebuilding. Jerry insisted on using panel that were a minimum of 10’ into the ground. His tie back system exceeded anything I’ve seen. This thing is built to a commercial standard. The wall is perfectly straight and will outlive me. Do yourself a favor. If you want no comprise quality at a great price call Jerry.

Got the job done right away and as promised. They also followed up afterwards to make sure everything was working well. It’s a company with a lot of experience.

Alford & Sons engineered and built a multi-level retaining wall for our property on Pensacola Bay. As a result of a hurricane, our property had sustained slope failure and was eroding into the bay. The usable property was 50 feet above the sea level and we had to reclaim buildable square footage for the planned house footprint. This required three levels of graduated wall construction. Since the soil was mostly sand, it was very unstable and each level required filter cloth on the wall and tie-backs to insure proper support of the wall. We were totally satisfied with the professionalism and expertise of the Alford company. They were attentive and completed the job in an acceptable time-frame. They built the tallest retaining wall system in Northwest Florida, if not all of Florida. The engineered system has survived several hurricanes since and many storms from the North with impressive rains and crashing surf. We totally recommend them for construction projects of any type. They can engineer and construct solutions capable of withstanding any form of erosion from rising water, battering surf or rain.Service: General construction
