    Contracted with Riffles to install a Carrier heat pump system 2 weeks ago. I had researched four 4 star+ companies including Riffles and chose them based on their quick response, thorough quote, competitive fair price and ease to work with. We arranged a date for the install and two techs Ray and Matt showed up on the scheduled date, performed the install, tested the system, thoroughly cleaned up and left me with a good feeling that I made the right choice. The system has been performing as expected for 2+ weeks now without issues. Brian the service manager has answered any/all questions I have had regarding things like warranties, thermostat settings etc. I highly recommend that you consider this company when you are looking for an HVAC system.

    We had a PM done today. Phillip the tech the was dispatched was great. Phillip a great knowledge with the system and when asked questions he was more than willing to explain. Great experience. We have had Riffles come out to do PM's and other checks. Never been dissatisfied. Thank you.

    Fan motor on my air conditioner died at 9 pm on a Sunday night when it was 27 degrees outside. l called Riffle’s at 11:00 pm. Matt was at my house at 9:30 AM and replaced the fan motor with out delay and at a reasonable price. Awesome service and price compared to the larger air conditioner repair services.

    Riffles installed a mini split in my home over a year ago. They did a good job BUT they forgot one important detail. They failed to properly seal up the AC chase on the outside of the house to prevent pesky rodents from entering.

    The technician that came out took pictures and confirmed the oversight and immediately offered to pay for the exterminator to get rid of the rat. This indicated to me that they were going to stand by their work. Sadly, they did not.

    The exterminator came and found the rat but Riffles refused to pay for his services. Then I was informed by Brian that they are going to charge me to repair the air conditioner which malfunctioned because of their bad workmanship. If they had properly sealed up the Chase the rodent would not have gotten in, in the first place.

    In all fairness I am beyond the warranty so there is nothing I can do. However, I would highly recommend anyone who is getting an air-conditioner installed by Riffles, or any other AC company, to make sure they properly seal the AC Chase. It is not surprising that the exterminator told me that my problem was the most common one he has to deal with and wondered out loud why AC Companies don’t properly seal the Chase to prevent rats from entering.

    Called for service on my Coleman mobile home AC package unit. Office staff very helpful.
    Unit was blowing lukewarm air. Summertime.
    Within a few hours of that day A service tech arrived.
    He was, very polite and user-friendly.
    Service tech diagnosed low on Freon. Did an excellent job servicing the unit.
    He cleaned the Condenser coils to make sure there was no dirt or dust blocking the coils. Even repaired a loose wire coming from the circuit breaker box.
    So happy I found an honest user friendly A/C company to service my AC unit.
    Would highly recommend…!

    If I could give a negative number I would. 8-12 window for service - got there at 10 - no big deal. My client is purchasing the house and had the HVAC inspected by another company. The owner chose to have Riffle cover the items from the inspection. There’s a main house and an apartment. They get the list of items to address and go to the apartment. After about 30 minutes I go to check on them - they’re gone! I call the office and am told they were told to leave. I ask by whom - they’re gone - girl transfers me to the service manager who informs (in a very rude fashion) me they won’t do the work because another company did the inspection and I should have that company do the service! The homeowner was a Riffle client and is paying for the service! But no - they have their noses out of joint because another company did the inspection. So incredibly unprofessional and rude! I will never use them again if they’re the last company in Florida! I’ll pay someone to come from Georgia first!

    I do not recommend! First of all they told me a $75 service charge to come out, which I didn’t have a problem with. But they also charge a $20 travel fee that they didn’t tell me about. No time window, you just have to wait around all day until the serve person calls you. It can be anywhere from 10 minutes to 30. So before they diagnosed anything you’re in for $95.

    The service person arrived sick. He flushed the pipes ( which I did 3 days prior) he rinsed off my compressor. Drilled a hole in one of the drain caps and stop my fan from being on high. All that took 1 hour and 30 minutes for a total of $215.00. He spent most of the time on the phone and when I told him the fan is too low he said it wasn’t labeled that he guessed. He guaranteed me the link in the garage would be solved.
    I waited two full days, had to turn my air lower than normal because the house wasn’t cooling down. When I told him to reverse the fan speed back to high because it’s running longer because I know have to lower the thermostat he implied that I was incorrect and didn’t believe me.
    I have owned homes for over 30 years. They always check the freeon pressure and other pressure in the compressor and the intake. That never happened. I never seen someone have to be on the phone with the main company for a hour and get charged for it. Every technician I’ve dealt with in the past was knowledgeable and continued educational certification. I didn’t feel confident on the experience, education and knowledge. They shouldn’t have to be on the phone for over a hour to talk with someone in order to fix it. Then charge the customer. All the things in 30 years I’ve seen my other technicians do, he didn’t , besides flushing the line. How they justify an 1 1/2 worth of work is ridiculous.
    I had to sign an agreement with them to reset my fan to high speed and they wouldn’t be responsible for the drip in my garage. Having to lower your air to a low speed in a 2000 sq foot house and keep it cool is more important than a dri in my garage. . He claimed I should never hear my AC unit come on. He never checked the Ac pad the duct work or put gadgets to test anything besides temperature in the duct. Evidently he thinks I was wrong on everything however I’ve had things explained to me in 30 years and felt confident in all other technician which I didn’t with Riffle.
    Update: with phots
    I gotten a full diagnostic test on my unit from another company. Yes, they agreed the speed was high but dint guess which plugs to put in and found out my box work has holes and full of mold and mildew that I’m breathing n daily. It’s a good thing I went elsewhere!

    If I could give more stars, I definitely would. They have been out a few times before to service our ancient unit. On a Sunday afternoon of a holiday weekend, we believed that the compressor blew. I called and left a message, they called me back first thing on Monday, even though it was a holiday. They had someone out first thing Tuesday, and sure enough, the composer had blown. With the unit being old as dirt, a unit replacement was the way to go. The service manager was great, ordered the unit after I gave the green light, and had the installers out first thing Saturday morning. The installers were very polite, and got the job done. The new AC is amazing!! I can’t recommend this company enough, thank you Riffle’s!!
