The shelter has a variety of pets available, including great-looking breeds. While the location may be challenging for those without a car, the staff is willing to assist with inquiries, often calling back and leaving voicemails. The shelter requires proof of ownership for lost pet searches but offers big rewards for those willing to make the trip. Many customers appreciate the amazing staff and adorable pets, noting the shelter's importance as a pillar of the community. However, some visitors wish they could explore the shelter more freely to take their time when choosing a dog. Adopting a pet is a serious commitment, and it's important to select the right match to avoid returning a pet who has already faced challenges. This shelter is definitely worth considering for those who can make the effort.
I have been over 2 months looking for the right dog and been to 3 different shelters to find one. This shelter has been very cooperative and helpful. I will finally be picking up my little girl Wednesday morning (if she is still there) and it took a lot of working with the staff to find her. I appreciate all of the time and effort it took. You guys rock, thanks Sarah.
They are very professional and and friendly. My dog got out and we searched for her for a day and a half,she was found and taken to the police station. Police called them and they picked her up and took very good care of her. We got her back safe and sound. So truly grateful for the way our Lil fur baby wad taken care of. Thank you so very much!!!!
I can't wait for the shelter to relocate. It's such a drive but we love this place. I just wish more people were responsible and spayed and neutered their pets. The kitten population is just booming. Tabitha at the front desk is awesome. I have no idea how she does it. Phone ringing, people coming and going with adoptions, fostering, and bringing in kittens to see if their adoptable. I love all the team work too. Everyone has a role and it works almost effortlessly. Please take the time to trap any kittens and get them in for TNT or for a screening to be adopted.
