I was provided a list of potential funeral homes to choose from. I was advised to contact them all, then select the one that I felt the most comfortable dealing with. Well, all I can say is that when I contacted the first home on the list, I was immediately put at ease. David (Broadus) made me feel oh so comfortable to work with! He seemed to display a genuine empathy for what I was going through. Thew cost was reasonable, and the service was outstanding. The main thing that I liked about them was this; we were going to have a closed casket, due to the condition of my spouse at her passing. I asked them to help make her more presentable. Not only did they make my wife presentable, her mother and I decided to have an open casket for the funeral!!!! They did this at no added cost by the way!!! I would recommend Broadus and Raines for anyone who has the need for their services.
