We hired Kyle from Simple Living Kitchen and Bath for our kitchen and bathroom renovations, and it was a nightmare. He took measurements in June, promising cabinets in 3-5 weeks, but they didn’t arrive for over nine weeks, with further delays in installation. He forgot to order a key part for the kitchen hood, stalling progress. We had to push him to measure for countertops and choose hardware, which led to more setbacks. A sink issue meant we couldn’t install a disposal, but we only found out after the countertop was custom cut. We remodeled most of our kitchen (soffit removal, cabinets and countertops) using simple living. While shopping around, Kyle was refreshingly upfront about the costs, and was providing helpful and unbiased advices. Their prices were also very competitive, quoting more than $10,000 under the price of local competitors. Once the cabinets were delivered, the installation was handled in a professional manner, with all efforts expanded to limit the unavoidable delays to the strict minimum. Best kitchen remodel experience ever. Kyle runs a VERY efficient operation.He helped us pick out all the components for our kitchen. Once all the parts arrived he gave us a detailed schedule for when all the various subcontractors would come out to do the work. Everything was done exactly according to schedule.All the subs were punctual, friendly, and helpful. There were a few surprises behind our old cabinets and everything was dealt with in a very professional manner. Contractors these days are VERY busy, but he still had everything finished on time. 3 weeks, start to finish.
