I took an heirloom quilt in to be cleaned. It already had some minor wear, I told myself I'd get it cleaned and then do any mending afterwards but they gave me a call to ask about it before they cleaned it. I didn't get the man's name but he took the time to really talk with me about what I was looking to accomplish and what would be best for the quilt, he even got a bit into historical textiles (which I enjoyed hearing about). We ended up deciding to just run it through the dryer since it didn't really need cleaning per se.
