Our 8 month old rescued Cocker Spaniel had previously gotten care at NAH and we experienced our first visit. It was a top notch experience, at all levels (facilities, vet tech, doctor and staff). We got a detailed visit notice emailed and needed a medication pickup. The staff helped us administer first dose and even offered that we can come back if we run into problems. I am super happy and will continue his care there.

I am willing to change my review upon receipt of both of my pets records. I left Gainesville a year ago and this was my vet, and they were truly the best vet in Gainesville. However, since I have moved, I have called multiple times to obtain records for my cats, which were not emailed to me as requested after each appointment. Multiple times they have said they would send the records, and never did. I completed the release form earlier this year to get the records released to me, and have yet to receive them. I really hope this gets resolved, leaving this review was my last resort because it's literally all I can do since I dont live over there anymore.

I don't find the time to write reviews often, but I've had such a great experience over several years with Newberry on Main that I feel compelled to share.
The folks at reception have always been warm and clearly care about the comfort of clients and their pets. The Techs I've met are knowledgeable, friendly, and adept at gentle handling. The Vets I've met leave space for me to ask questions, explain things thoroughly and comprehensively, and truly care about the wellbeing of my pets. The office seems very organized, both in systems and in practice. Prices have been consistent with other vets I've seen, if not a little less expensive in some areas, and they absolutely do not push the most expensive treatments/options.
Overall, NAH on Main St has been the best veterinary experience I've ever had with my menagerie (all cats now, but also the best dog in the world who passed on a few years ago.) I would recommend them to anyone!

My cat is not very friendly, but he loves the people at Newberry Animal hospital. I’m always amazed. They’re fabulous. They explain everything. I am truly grateful to have them taking care of Midnight 🐈⬛

I chose this facility because I was not satisfied with my previous vet. NAH was closest to where I recently moved to. Upon looking at the website I saw they are NOT corporate owned and decided to try them based on that alone. The last 2 vets I had gone to were bought by corporations and the before and after were wildly apparent at both places. I don't want to be upsold on products by my dog's vet. I want a caring vet that is looking out for my precious baby. My whole visit at NAH did not disappoint. I will be back! Hopefully just for check ups and no more ear infections :-( I highly recommend. The prices were very reasonable too. Everything was broken down and explained. They took very good care of my Loki.
