You meant more than you could possibly imagine to so many people of all ages. You are still deeply missed, and you were an unmatched teacher here in Gainesville. The music community is not the same without your talent and gentle instruction. Rest in peace, Weilu, and thank you for all that you’ve done here.
I’ve heard Weilu’s concert before, she’s such a genius! Her techniques of playing piano was incredible, but more importantly is that she had great passion in music. It was an amazing experience. She’s definitely a pro.
Weilu was my piano teacher for about 1 year and a half while she was in Columbus, Georgia. I always always looked forward to getting my lesson each week. I’m not yet where I’d liked to be in playing piano but I know one day I will be able to play beautifully the way she does. When she plays the piano, the music always sounds heavenly. She always tried her best to help me play better each lesson. Thank you for getting me where I am today. I will continue to take my lessons and practice my piano so I can play something beautiful for her one day!
