Customers appreciate the impressive work shown on social media and the excellent customer service. The owner is also friendly and provides helpful information. Appointments are recommended for a better experience. The shop is great for all levels of string players.

This is a great, and very clean and tidy, string shop and the owner is accommodating and very nice to deal with. I'm primarily a percussionist and my son is a pianist who wanted to try cello for a bit. No issues at all with getting him into a rental.

The selection in the shop appears to be great for whatever you're after or in need of if your a string player. Good experience and I'll be back if the decision is made down the road to make a purchase.

I highly recommend Gainesville Violins. Paul is very helpful and willing to fix up your violin or if you desire help you find another one that will suit you. I bought a violin from him about a month ago and have been very happy with it. His instruments quality meets the prices he asks.

I rent a cello from Paul. I started on a beginner cello and it was perfect while I learned the basics. I recently upgraded to an advanced beginner cello and it’s a beautiful instrument. Paul is knowledgeable and easy to work with. Highly recommend!
