Andrews came to the rescue after our A/C went out at our home and our condo….both on the same day. The technician came as soon as soon as he could and had both units working in a short time period. I have always found Andrews to be very responsive, hard working, and a company that I can trust.
I have called upon Andrews for many years and have been impressed with the professionalism of all of their technicians and the owner as well. We finally got to the end of life on one of our units and had to purchase a new one recently from them. They did an excellent job, installing it in less than a day and their price was extremely competitive. I would highly recommend them.
I called a large prominent HVAC/plumbing/electric company to install a wifi thermostat I had bought. After 30 min, the tech said it couldn't be done without rewiring the house (!) because the 50 year old wiring to the old analog therm didn't have enough power. Then I called a large company that only does HVAC systems. Their techs said they could run new wiring through the attic but had to cut a hole in the sheetrock to access the existing wiring. Estimate was $650! Then Igor, the owner of Andrews, came out & immediately suggested to simply install the new therm close to the AC unit with 1 small drill hole, but he wanted to try putting it in the original location. He climbed into the attic, found an existing wire & spliced it. I had bought 2 Honeywells at Lowe's, but 1 had been opened & the other that had not. Igor quickly installed the opened therm at my request but after 2 hours, with a customer service rep on the phone, & a Cox tech who happened to be there, we all determined the therm was defective because it would not sync with any of our phones. So we gave up & then Igor installed the unopened therm & synched it in 15 minutes! His tenacity was remarkable & he was determined to get one of the WiFi therms to work, even though he normally wouldn't install something the customer supplied. He was so nice & patient and then charged me half what it should have cost for his time & less than 1/3 of the other HVAC company's estimate. Highly recommend Andrews! 5 STARS!
