Richmond Electric Inc. is a very reliable and professional electrical contractor for both residential and commercial work. Customers report fantastic, friendly, and prompt service every time. The technicians are very good, professional, thorough, and nice. They show up when supposed to, figure out problems, and explain issues in detail. Their work is described as exceptional, stellar, great, and truly five-star. They do beautiful work, fixing frustrating messes and leaving things better than they found them. Projects include replacing smoke detectors, installing GFI outlets, adding ceiling and outdoor lights, and handling complex commercial jobs, all done to a high standard. Customers are very, very happy with their work, call them the gold standard, and will definitely use them again.
Just had some more work done with Richmond Electric on 4/25/2025. Our house is now 10 years old and started having the smoke detectors reaching their life and could no longer just put a battery in it to get it to turn off. So had all my smoke detectors replaced at once total of 7. These have the 10 year battery in it. They sent Chase. He was very good, professional and fast. He did the work and tested all of them. Very happy with his work. As you see below was a previous time and I always call Richmond Electric because they are very reliable.

I wanted to take the time to express how refreshing it is to find a contractor that does exceptional work. Richmond Electrical is a stellar enterprise- I have hired them for commercial work as well as residential jobs and they are the gold standard for electrical contracting. I had a commercial job that was an actual mess- old junction boxes and things not up to code, etc- and Richmond Electrical's tech came out and sorted through what must have been a *very* frustrating mess of a panel- and he fixed everything so beautifully I couldn't actually believe the before and after!
