I had a very concerning experience with Maschmeyer Concrete. A lien was placed on my property despite the fact that we never had a contract, never authorized work, and no permit was ever pulled in our name. This should have been prevented on the front end, not “investigated” after the damage was done. Placing a lien on someone’s property is not a minor inconvenience—it affects credit, property records, and reputation. This situation was handled in an unacceptable and unprofessional manner, and I would strongly caution others to verify everything in writing before doing business with this company.

This company sends out pretend certified letters warning you of "liens" on your house if a contractor I hire does not pay them for their concrete even if you paid YOUR contractor, this is a terrible way to do anything. How are they going to try to take YOUR house because the company you hired does not pay their bill? I have NEVER had this happen, I used a valid, and insured company. What? now, if I hire someone to install a fence the wood company is going to take my hous too? This is a terrible and very bullying and scare tactic manner. I should not have to send you "anything" to prove that you were paid, go after the person who hired YOUR company. It is the person you made the deal with not ME. I will be contacting my attorney because this is a terrible letter to send a homeowner. I will also be reporting you to the BBB and to FL Department of Business and Professional Regulation as you so indicate in your very bold letter. You wanna take MY house because the dude YOU did business with may or may not have paid you and you want me to "prove" they paid you? What kind of nonsense is this?!
