I wish I could give 0 stars. I’ve never written a negative review in my entire life but wow, salus care is a pathetic excuse for a psychiatric institution. As I’ve been a patient since 2017, I did not realize that OTHER psychiatrists out there that would be so helpful and not ignorant to the needs and basic rights of their patients. At 14 years old I was baker acted and sent here. I remember there was one staff member that was friendly, but the rest all seemed annoyed that they had a job to do and failed to complete it. The experience was not that great. I been thee for three days. The lights in the room didn't let me sleep much and nurses had to watch us sleep it was uncomfortable for me. Also I had fun but I sometimes hear them curse at night. And they also send a 8 year old at that place just for throwing chairs and he was on the suicide group and he doesnt do self harm. And the food wasn't bad but the staff or the lady on Wednesday April 15 was pretty mean she scared me because she was strict and rude she wouldn't even let no one talk but the group of boys didn't listen that much. I'm pretty disappointed with this and I didn't really heal much from this place. The food wasn't that...read full review
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at SalusCare. What I encountered raises serious concerns about patient safety, professionalism, and basic human rights.

• Lack of cleanliness and poor sanitary conditions
• Improper handling and disposal of medical waste and bodily fluids, creating risk of cross-contamination
• Inadequate use of medical charts and questionable medication administration practices
• Violations of patient privacy
• Reports and experiences of inappropriate behavior, including sexual harassment
• Physical mistreatment and...read full review
