“Our dog Bowie had eaten something that made him very sick and we weren’t sure what to do, My husband showed up at this clinic at 8am after 6 days of waiting to see if it would pass. They were kind enough to fit them in with almost no wait. Bowie was treated promptly and sent home. The next 30 hours were a little touch and go, but he has fully recovered! We are so very thankful for the staff who took the time to care for our fur baby!“

The groomer was incredibly talented, patient, and clearly loves what they do. The spots came out amazing!! Super neat, creative, and my girl looked like a little superstar when we left. “I've been getting my standard poodle groomed here for about a year now and I cannot say enough good things about them. My energetic boy can be a handful, but his groomer Andrea allows him the time he needs to get his puppy wiggles out. He always looks fantastic and most importantly to me, he's excited to see the staff which says he's having a good time getting his hair done.“

He has had very difficult to treat UTIs and the doctor has always provided several treatment options and kept me in the loop for his care. “We took our Charlie to the clinic last night (Sunday night at 8pm) because he suddenly started peeing blood
The staff was very kind and professional from the person who answered the phone when we called to Dr Fischer who examined him. An ultrasound indicated a very high probability of bladder cancer.
A dozen more tests could have been ordered, as other vets have done, but as the doctor said It won’t change the outcome It was refreshing to hear someone who was as concerned about our wallet as he was about our dog. I have had $900+ bills in the past from other vets who ran a multitude of tests only to end up telling me they don’t know what’s wrong! Charlie is on medication to ease his discomfort and possibly cure him on the very slim chance it is not cancer.
We are so very grateful for Dr Fischer and his staff for the compassion they showed us when evaluating Charlie We will return to Colonial Animal Hospital for his follow up care.“
