I have always wondered about bail bondsmen, but first-hand experience with the personable Francisco Gonzalez (& John) on 11/12/15 was an experience. They earned their $250 fee. Here's my mug shot from the night before. (That photo shoot cost me $30, and to hire a "public" defender costs another $50.) Thank goodness Frankie gave me some helpful tips on navigation, even though my girlfriend & I drove him crazy. Luckily my girlfriend was with me when I got arrested, so she took MY rental car and my Chase Debit card with HER. She was then able to do the bail process. She put up her house for me as collateral. When we got to the office in the afternoon, I was able to pay Frank Gonzalez the $400 from my jail $$$ card, and the other $2,100 from my AmEx card.
