Definitely 5 stars! Thank you so much Eddie and Simone. I appreciate you going the extra mile for us. You made a difficult self-employed loan seem easy! I am so glad that I found you and called you! I tried 3 other brokers before you and you were definitely the best! I will definitely recommend you to my clients and friends. You were always easy to reach and there when I needed you. Plus, you closed me one week ahead of schedule even though I got a late start! I highly recommend the team at First Florida FInancial.

I was working with another lender to purchase a condo while simultaneously selling my house. Although I had used this lender in the past and had a good experience, this time it was a totally different story. For several weeks, we went back and forth due to a clause in the HOA documents stating they had first right of refusal for a sale. The story is long, but what ended up happening was that on the day I was scheduled to close -- at 7:00 pm, and after many unanswered phone calls -- I found out that the underwriter did not approve the loan for this property. My house closed the next day and I was literally homeless. After I cried it off and cleared my mind, I was determined to find someone with experience in closing on Florida condos and decided to do two things: (1) go to the bank with whom I've been doing business for the last 18 years and (2) research online for mortgage companies with experience in Florida condos. This is how I found Eddie Hoskins and First Florida Financial. I read the reviews and they were all great. Although it sounded too good to be true -- at this point I was skeptical about all lenders -- I took a chance and filled out the form on their web page early in the morning. Not even an hour later, I received an email and a text message from Eddie. We spoke on the phone and he said these words -- "You have a problem that needs fixing and I can fix it for you." He did not disappoint. That same day, I completed the application online and was immediately contacted by Simone with instructions to upload my documents. From that moment on, they handled everything in the most efficient way possible. Every step of the way, someone was contacting me and informing me of what was needed. We even encountered a roadblock with my insurance company and they called me and put me in touch with an insurer who quickly contacted me and prepared all the documents I needed. An amazing 10 days from the day I first spoke to Eddie, I closed on my property! Thank you, Eddie and team, for making what started out as a nightmare, the best experience ever. You and the team are FANTASTIC!!
