“Turfection has been providing lawn maintenance for my family for over 20 years. I have tried other lawn services but found they were not reliable or honest especially when I was not a year-round resident. I’ve only had one major issue over these many years with damaged sprinklers and when I asked for a meeting, they met me and we discussed it and resolved it amicably. Part of the problem was that the sprinkler heads were too high and the pipe that finally broke was over 20 years old and brittle.Before Turfection, I had other lawn services that didn’t show up regularly or at all! But because I had auto pay I was taken advantage of until I stopped the auto pay for no service when a neighbor and the HOA told me my lawn was not being cut ?.I have never had that problem with Turfection And they have a pretty simple arrangement… In the winter months they come every other week to mow and in the summer it’s every week. The pricing is so reasonable for my HORRIBLE hill on a lake and on the few occasions when they miss a week in the summer, it’s usually because of nature or work being done in our community and definitely NOT because they’re unreliable. And I honestly don’t think they’ve increased their prices in the last 10 to 15 years. So if they miss a week here and there, I really try to be reasonable and understand. I still think this company is a great value and does good work.I think like all businesses, finding reliable employees has been a challenge for Turfection. I have noticed in the last year the quality of the team that trims the edges and blows the grass off driveways has greatly improved. But, again, I try to be reasonable if something isn’t done to my liking, I contact Turfection or even better talk to them in person when I see them on the mower. I’ve never had a problem with them saying they wouldn’t or couldn’t do some thingIf you are thinking of hiring them, ask them to come out and do a walk-through with you so you know exactly what you’re getting and they know exactly what you want done and expect. Remember, if you have a lot of lawn ornaments or sprinklers or items that prohibit easy cutting, you have to consider the time and equipment it takes to mow around those things and also be reasonable in what you expect.Service: Lawn mowing & maintenance“
