I can honestly say that my experience at Thermae Retreat was nothing short of incredible, and what truly stands out is how I still feel a full week later. This wasn’t just a temporary reset. It created a lasting shift in my body, my mind, and even my sense of clarity.
From the moment I arrived, every detail was thoughtfully considered. You can feel the intention behind everything they do, from the environment, to the treatments, to the way they truly listen and personalize your experience. It never felt generic or routine. It felt like genuine care.
Physically, I left feeling lighter, less inflamed, and more in tune with my body than I have in a long time. But what surprised me most was the mental and emotional clarity that came with it. I walked away not just relaxed, but grounded, focused, and re-centered in a way that’s hard to put into words.
The entire staff is exceptional…kind, attentive, and deeply invested in what they’re doing. And I have to give a special thank you to Kelly, who truly made the experience what it was. Her attention to detail, presence, and care did not go unnoticed. She has a way of making you feel both supported and understood, which elevated everything.
If you’re looking for something that goes beyond surface-level relaxation, something that actually helps reset and restore you on every level, this is it. I am beyond grateful for the experience and will absolutely be returning. It is worth traveling from NJ for!

I love Thermae! From the moment I walk through the doors my body begins to relax. The staff is wonderful, their welcoming smile and calming energy say so much. I feel, at that moment, that I am surrounded by kindness. I had a wonderful 60-minute massage that I extended to 90 minutes. The infrared sauna felt like my spiritual sweat cave, I love the blue lights and my sacred alone time. Thermae is a wonderful sanctuary for unwinding. It’s the best experience.

I’ve always enjoyed my time at Thermae Spa. The knowledgeable staff, and owner Kelly, are always welcoming and hospitable. My first experience at the new PEMS location was an amazing sound bath led by David Ortiz. The space is relaxing and there are so many different sauna options to fit your needs. The cold plunge between saunas is exhilarating and I’m currently working on increasing my “plunge” time 😊 If you’re visiting Fort Lauderdale, or a local, Thermae Retreat is THE perfect place in Fort Lauderdale to relax and recharge!

I hadn't been to Thermea at PEMS Spa since they relocated, and wow -- the upgrade is real. They've truly enhanced the entire space. All the favorites are still there -- sauna, infrared, cold plunge -- all the good, restorative things -- but the expanded backyard creates such a beautiful, elevated vibe. The meditation room is absolutely perfect: cozy, grounding, and so peaceful you genuinely forget you're in the middle of Fort Lauderdale.
From the moment I walked in, the team was warm and welcoming. Sasha greeted me with such kindness, setting the tone immediately. My therapist, Esteban, gave me a 90-minute deep tissue massage that was exactly what I needed. I walked in carrying so much stress I'm convinced my shoulders were practically up by my ears -- and he truly worked the muscles and joints with intention. Not a fluffy, oil-and-elbows massage, but real, therapeutic bodywork that made a difference.
It felt like a little piece of heaven tucked inside the city. I love that they also host monthly events supporting artists -- such a thoughtful touch. I don't know why I don't come here more often, but I'm officially committed to changing that. Absolutely amazing experience. Can't wait to go back.

Special gem of Fort Lauderdale in the wellness space. I regularly enjoy my time here detoxing in the infrared saunas then relishing a deep tissue massage. Every treatment I have received has exceeded my expectations and the space is very inviting and comfortable. Kelly is always very thoughtful and gracious and I can't say enough good things about this wonderful sanctuary in the heart of Lauderdale.

Love this place. Spent a day at the spa and it has been the highlight of my Ft. Lauderdale trip so far. Great staff and good vibes. Full day of massages, sauna, skin care and sound healing. 11/10 would recommend.
