The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Fort Lauderdale

I recently visited the Ritz-Carlton Spa in Fort Lauderdale and overall had a pleasant experience. The spa itself is beautiful, and I especially appreciated the warm welcome and professionalism of the representative at the front desk, who made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived and upon exiting.

That said, there were a few details that took away from what I expected to be a luxury spa experience. While relaxing in the lounge, I could loudly overhear staff conversations from nearby areas, including some complaints and work-related discussions. I had a really wonderful experience at the spa relaxing before and after my treatment. I only went into the sauna and it was great (hot, spacious, and nice with the glass surrounding it). I was there on a Monday so it was peaceful and not super busy. I had Phu for my massage and he was incredibly kind, highly professional, and very skilled. I would happily go back to him in the future if I'm down in the area for vacation again. After the massage I was able to relax in the lounge, eat some healthy snacks and have some tea, and I ended up falling asleep with a cozy blanket for about a half hour.
