Being a Police Officer for 26 years in South Florida I was in 2023 wrongfully accused of 2 felony crimes that I did not commit. Though the allegations were unsupported by the facts, an overzealous State Attorney moved forward on those spurious charges (after a shoddy investigation by a B.S.O. Detective that lacked even the most basic of diligence to determine the totality of circumstances) regarding the incident. Counselor Eric Schwartzreich exposed all of the egregious myopic errors the Detective made while interviewing the “victim” - and under the accuser’s first and ONLY Deposition, with the State Attorney watching, Eric’s expertise and experience with his masterful line of questioning exposed the truth that the victim was not a victim, but was in fact the proximal cause, initiator, instigator, aggressor, and was actually a disingenuous police agitator, with a criminal history - and his accusations against me had more holes than the Titanic. Ultimately during that first and only interview my innocence of wrongdoing was exposed by the victim’s own admission 👀 under oath through Eric’s wisdom and experience. CASE DISMISSED before the trial even began…. The State was FORCED to announce a Nolle Pros at the next hearing. For 13 years, the Broward County State Attorney dragged me through the criminal justice system. The best decision I ever made was to hire Eric. He fought vigorously on my behalf despite the prosecutors prolonging this horrible chapter in my life as long as they did. Eric did not ask for a single dime more than I paid 13 years ago and still did his best.
If you are a member of a CBA that does not have Eric as one of its attorneys, quit playing around with your life. Having this man as your attorney will give you great peace of mind. I hope that I will never need him again, but if I do it would be a no-brainer to hire him for any legal trouble which may arise.
