    Neptune Memorial supported an intentional and thoughtful memorial for my dad, Joe. We honored and celebrated him with a plaque and scattering at sea. The entire team was so respectful and thoughtful, from the first interaction to the moment I dove with Pedro to install the plaque and scattering his ashes underwater, we felt so taken care of. We chartered a boat and even the captain and dive masters were so tender and thoughtful. I highly recommend Neptune…and if you get a chance to go underwater and spread the ashes, take it. It’s incredible to witness.

    Navigating the process across two different counties to honor my brother Craig’s final wishes was a daunting task. Craig had prearranged his burial at sea, a fitting choice for a proud U.S. Navy veteran who loved diving and the ocean.     My husband, Don, passed 13 years ago unexpectedly at the age of 64. Even though he had been sick for a year, we were anticipating recovery. He came from a Jewish family and his sisters were unhappy that I had him cremated. But it was something we both believed in and had talked about casually. At the time, I did not think ahead to what I would do with his ashes. I had several alternatives but nothing that I felt comfortable with or would please Don's family and that was important to me.
