Dr. Gonzalez was our vet for many years and treated our pets with live and care, we originally chose Him because we knew in the future we were moving to Japan and asked every vet of they can do the paperwork and none of the vets we called from west palm to homestead had any idea of what we were talking about or just out right refused because they said it was too complicated, when we called Fort Lauderdale veterinary center they knew exactly what we were talking about and confidently said they can handle it. The added bonus was they were a great, friendly and knowledgeable facility and all our visits were handled better than anyplace we been to prior. Needless to say we moved last month and everything was good and in order and made it through the airport without a problem and with how strict Japan is that is really saying something. So now Mochi and Katsu are happy in our new home and my only regret was not remembering to write this review sooner.

This is my 3rd attempt to share my negative experience without Dr. Gonzalez publishing my name number and home address without my consent that i gave to him confidentially during our visit. Dr. Gonzalez if you wish to reply please do so professionally without posting my information without consent.

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Jose Javier Gonzalez (License # VM9470). He is the only vet at this practice. His demeanor during our visit was unprofessional, disorganized, and uncomfortable, and it left us certain we would never return.

What followed was far worse. After a negative review was posted, Dr. Gonzalez publicly shared private client information online. This behavior appears to be an attempt to intimidate clients into removing unfavorable reviews, and we later learned this has happened to others as well.

When asked to remove the information, it was implied that deleting the review would solve the problem. Out of concern for safety and privacy, I was taken down.

If Dr. Gonzalez chooses to respond to this review, he is welcome to do so professionally, but he should not post or disclose any private or identifying information. That conduct is unacceptable for any medical professional.

I strongly recommend choosing a different veterinarian who respects clients and their privacy.

I do not give Dr. Jose Javier Gonzalez consent to post or share my private client information in any attempt to silence or retaliate against my negative experience. (This is my FOURTH attempt to share my bad experience without being doxxed by Dr. Javier Gonzalez)

    STAY FAR AWAY.

Dr. Jose Javier Gonzalez (License # VM9470) retaliated against my one-star review by publicly posting my private client information, including my full name, phone number, and home address. This was clearly done as a fear tactic to intimidate me into removing my honest review. I later discovered he has done this to multiple other clients as well.

When I asked him to remove my personal information, he responded, “you can do that,” implying I should delete my review if I wanted my information taken down. Out of fear for my safety and privacy, I removed my original review and it worked. That alone should alarm anyone considering this practice.

His public response also contained false statements, including calling me a scammer, which is completely untrue. We arrived on time and waited over 25 minutes past our appointment in a small, hot room while Dr. Gonzalez was nowhere to be found.

There are now multiple complaints filed with the Florida Board of Veterinary Medicine regarding his repeated behavior of posting clients’ private information online. This is intimidating, unsafe, and completely unacceptable.

If Dr. Gonzalez chooses to reply again, he is welcome to share his story of events professionally, but he is not permitted to post or expose my private or identifying information in any way. Doing so would only further prove my point.

I strongly recommend avoiding this office. There are many other veterinarians nearby who will not put your safety or privacy at risk.

Dr. Gonzalez and his team always make me feel like my dog is in the best hands. The technicians are attentive, remember us, and it’s a pleasant experience for not only me- but my dog as well. They care, take pride in their work, and it shows.

I wish to thank Dr Gonzalez and his staff for their kind attention and care, to our little Shitzu dog who had her leg amputated there today, due to hip dysplasia, and pain of rt rear leg she's had for 7 years. Dr's care and compassion for our little dog is greatly appreciated. I highly recommend his practice.

I couldn't recommend Dr. Gonzalez or his team more. Every single time I call, they fit me in. Every surgery and check up are done with so much love but also deep knowledge of the procedure. I have trusted all four of my dogs in his hands for 15 years now and I can confidently say the masses he's removed so thoroughly is why they've all had such long lives!
