Sergio Cavazos is an Angel send by God to help me go to this painful time, he is the Funeral Director at Davie location. His outstanding dedication to his Families (that's how he called his clients)is out of this world. He is with you day and night. Compassionate, assertive, kind,reasonable, Honest and sincere. We can't express enough superlatives to describe what a wonderful experience we had with Forest Lawn in Davie. From the start, the onboarding process was subtle, no pressure, no upselling tactics.
Sergio was great to work with. He made sure all the details were perfectly planned ahead of time. There was no stress for anyone. He took care of everything.
During the preliminary walk-through we discussed how things would be laid out, how the memorabilia we provided would be displayed for the celebration of life memorial service.
He mentioned his team was good at it, but when I tell you they went above and beyond -- they did an outstanding job! They transformed the entire place so well it was just incredible. Whomever is responsible for this -- you're incredible.
Then on the day of the service, upon arriving into the parking lot before any guests arrive, our family was immediately met by Arthur, the funeral director who managed the event that day.
Never in my life have I experienced such compassion and professionalism from an individual like this. He was such an amazing person. He knew exactly what to do, when to do it, what to say, and how to handle everything.
His ability to coordinate every detail while also having complete awareness of grieving family and friends was something special.

Sergio and Arthur were wonderful. They were caring and attentive from the very first call. They were very accessible and helped guide us through every detail. Additionally, they were present for the service and went above and beyond to make us and our mom feel special.

My 96 year young father passed away January 19, 2026. He had purchased his plot in 1984 when my mother, his wife, passed away unexpectedly. Knowing that he was not doing well, I met with Shaun the week prior to his death. I wanted to make all of the final arrangements before his passing. Shaun and his staff could not have made this difficult process any easier. Shaun was amazing and caring and compassionate and honest and went above and beyond to explain the process and help us understand what needed to be done and why it needed to be dove. The day after my father passed way, we went back to finalize a few details and worked with Michele. She couldn’t have been lovelier. Again, she made what could have been an unbearable process extremely bearable. And the day of the funeral exceeded our expectations. There’s nothing fun about burying a parent yet Michele and her staff created the most beautiful space and tribute to our father. Everything, and I mean everything, was PERFECT! Dignity turned an extremely painful day into a beautiful experience. I cannot recommend them enough!
