I had to call an electrician because we had some weird stuff going on with our house after the vacuum overheated and shut off. I also had some weird responses when trying to turn off the power at the fuse box. I ended up calling an electrician because I was concerned about the house burning down since I could smell some sort of burning but couldn't locate it. He took a look at things. He searched every outlet in the house to find the one that had apparently blown out. After seeing it, he fixed the outlet, fixed my backward GFCI outlet, and cleaned up pretty nicely. I am pleased by their hard work; it was a great job.
