Initial consultation the Dr told us with her cancer and where it's located with chemo treatment she should have 2 years of quality living. Dr Williams is the person that told us that. I wasn't at the initial consultation but I was there the next 10 appointments. Never met Dr Williams and had roughly 6 different Dr's over those 10 visits. Well tonight 3 months later I had to Euthanize Blu. Perhaps the thing that bothers me most is that it's so impersonal. You sit in a waiting g room with other dog owners and they come out and talk you there, not having the courtesy of discussing your pup in privte setting. .Why?Dr Correa was recommended to me by Dr Marks People pay thousands of dollars to go here and it seems it to much to ask to ask to discuss your dogs illnesses in private setting

Super thankful for the compassionate workers at this clinic, especially the ladies working at reception. They went above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and in good hands. Highly recommend!

My beloved dog Justin was treated at this clinic earlier this year after being diagnosed with a cancerous mass next to his esophagus. Surgery wasn’t an option, and the team recommended radiation. I trusted their guidance because I desperately wanted to give Justin more time and comfort. Unfortunately, I feel that I was given false hope. Justin began declining immediately after his first radiation treatment and continued to worsen despite my constant calls and updates to the clinic. Each time, I felt there wasn’t a clear or honest plan for how to help him, nor straightforward guidance about his prognosis. I wish someone would have told me the truth that euthanasia may have been the kinder and more appropriate option. One month after starting treatment, Justin passed away at home unexpectedly in my bed. It was traumatizing and absolutely heartbreaking. Looking back, I believe Justin suffered more because I was trying to follow the clinic’s recommendation rather than being advised realistically about his quality of life and what was ahead. I’m sharing this because I wish I had been given more transparency, honest communication, and guidance during the most difficult month of my life. I hope this helps other pet parents make informed decisions for the animals they love so deeply.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Fernández and the entire team at Animal Cancer Care Clinic. My French Bulldog was treated there for over a year for cutaneous lymphoma, and from day one they were compassionate, patient, and so incredibly loving — not just to her, but to me.

Every visit, every tough conversation, every treatment decision was handled with grace and humanity. They never rushed us, always explained options clearly, and helped guide us through some really hard moments. You can tell they truly love what they do and understand the emotional weight of caring for a sick pet. I was consistently blown away by Dr. Fernandez and to this day I tell everyone that he may be one of the most amazing humans I've ever met.

As a (non-vet) physician myself, I can honestly say their level of compassion, communication, and bedside manner is something many in human medicine could learn from. They saw us as a family, not just a case. Every team member, every nurse and the check in staff were all just incredible.

I am forever grateful to Dr. Fernández and his team for giving my girl excellent care and for treating her like he was their own...literally to the very end-tears and all. If your pet needs oncology care, there is no better place.

Thank you all for helping my family over the course of the past year. You all will be in our hearts along with my Avery forever.

Hearing someone diagnose your pet with cancer is devastating. However, everyone at the Animal Cancer Care Clinic - from the receptionists, to the techs, to the doctors - were professional and friendly. The atmosphere was so great that my dog was completely at ease. Dr. Lyons was not just incredibly knowledgeable but also caring and took the time to explain the treatments in detail. No one wants their pet to have cancer, but if it happens to you and your furball, I would highly recommend this clinic.

It’s been almost 2 years since we brought our French Bulldog in for radiation therapy for his brain tumor. Can’t express how grateful we are for Dr. Lyons and the staff at the clinic. They couldn’t have been more understanding and kind. We feel so fortunate we’ve had these extra years with him 🙏🏼

The entire staff here is so friendly and accommodating. They really treat your FurBaby like family.

CAUTION TO ANYONE BRINGING THEIR DOGS HERE!

I was given two inaccurate diagnoses of cancer for my dog before tests were even ran for her. While tests were being conducted that were 1-3k the Dr. Lyons comes in stating if money is in an issue we would rather just start treatment now instead of running further tests. After explaining the proper treatment protocol can’t be given without proper diagnosis. After a biopsy test my dog was brought back on the exam room still actively bleeding from biopsy area. All staff and doctors had lunch while we waiting in the exam room for further contact after tests. I had to enter the employee examining area to get help for my dog to stop the bleeding from her biopsy area. When entering the area 10-20 employees were standing around talking and eating not working while I was at the office already for 2 hours. We then had a follow up with Dr. Fernandez after the first initial appointment issues. Both visits the diagnosis were being given to us by vet techs and not the actual doctors. Both appointments my dog was barely even touched, examined, and or acknowledged. The vet techs and both Dr. Lyons and Dr. Fernandez showed zero empathy for our situation and dog and just stated our vet is wrong they are right but could not give actual 100% answers/results. During both visits after 1-3k was spent for testing Dr. Fernandez stated the CHOP protocol is the only treatment for our dog and that without treatment she has less than 6 weeks to live and with treatment she may have 10-12 months to live but that’s it.

It is now 4+ weeks since last visit there our dog is confirmed cancer free on all the same tests ran by our personal vet and third party universities that are the nation leader in testing entirely contradicting the animal cancer care clinic initial diagnosis and treatment plan.

If you are unfortunate enough to bring your dog here DO NOT. Only employee that shows empathy or cares to show emotion is employee responsible for giving you the estimates and treatment plans because they are responsible for showing you the 5-15k costs for their services.

Both Dr. Lyons and Fernandez are terrible doctors that don’t care to show emotion during visits and fail to actual provide factual documentation to support the diagnosis and only care to run one test without further following up or confirming diagnosis. Both experiences at this facility we were treated as purely just a number and another bank account this awful company can scam with poor medical knowledge, expertise, diagnosis, and terrible customer care and communication. All information was able to be given over the phone which every visit employees asked oh why weren’t you told this you didn’t have to come or drive the hour and half or wait 2 hours for a visit we were supposed to call you.

Please avoid the animal cancer care clinic.

My baby Asa had a consult today with Dr. Lyons and his technician was Jack.
I just want to say that I was so nervous leading up to this appt because my dog can be very fearful, aggressive and just outright difficult to handle. I can really appreciate that Jack actually sat down and talked to him and got acquainted with my baby before just asking me questions and taking him away. He was compassionate, down to earth and caring with my baby. Dr.Lyons was also Amazing. He was clear in explaining treatment options and straight to the point while still showing compassion. It is literally crazy that my dog was a good boy here lol. He usually has to be heavily sedated and will not tolerate exams. The environment was so at ease and calming that he had no choice but to be calm. Dawn the CSR was also a very sweet part of our visit. I walked in confused with so much anxiety and I left with clear treatment plans and knowing our options for care. I will recommend this place to any pet parent confused and scared about their pets cancer diagnosis.
