I had a horrible experience with Jason at The Lawn Ranger, LLC. In summary, Jason and his crew unnecessarily rented a small tractor to move some rock that literally caused thousands of dollars worth of permanent damage to my driveway and the paver walkway on the side of my house. The heat put off by the tractor completely fried about a quarter of my rear lawn and I literally spent time and money rehabilitating it during the very hot summer months. This job was a simple one that would have taken less time and not caused any damage had he and his crew just used wheelbarrows to move the rock. He was completely indignant about the damage he caused which he regarded as superficial and unavoidable and now I now have gouges in my driveway that ruins the curb appeal of my home. He then blamed me for not intervening during the project when I trusted him to exercise caution and use his experience to get the job done professionally and expediently.
Jason completely lacks accountability and his decision to unnecessarily use power equipment shows very poor judgment. When I tried to negotiate a compromise on the price to offset a portion of the repair cost (over $10,000 as quoted which I shared with him), Jason offered a 3% discount and threatened to wreck my credit and put me through collections proceedings if I didn't pay him promptly in full. He even said he would increase the price and seek more compensation in court if I didn't capitulate to his demands.
These are not good business practices and anyone thinking about using The Lawn Ranger, LLC. for their landscaping needs should strongly reconsider their decision.
