I had the absolute BEST experience delivering at Baptist Clay in their L&D back in 2023. The nursing staff was unbelievable and I couldn’t imagine anywhere better to have a child.
Dr. Gazzola is AMAZING! I have been seeing Gastro doctors all over town and he is the only Doctor Who has taken the time to listen and actually cares. I feel like he’s going above and beyond to find out what is wrong with me. From the very first moment that I came in the office, he treated me like I was a person and not just another number or a patient. He was seeing that day. Baptist Clay you have an amazing doctor on your hands and I wish more doctors would be like him.
My spouse recently had a few nights stay at this new hospital in Fleming Island. When I first walked in on the first floor I felt a library vibe. There was not one visible soul in the whole bottom floor of the hospital and as I walked i could see there was a small eatery that was closed. Apparently, they close at 3 o'clock. The hospital floor does look like the same design concept as Baptist South, long and lenier. The rooms are huge. They come with a huge TV and a refrigerator. The Windows are very big and the patients can direct the shades with their handheld controllers to go up-and-down. Their chair and the couch are standard.
