I would not recommend this practice to anyone.
I have been a client for many years and used to like taking my dog there until the day they have tried to take advantage of my dog.
The reason why I have chosen Salty Paws was because they offered
a non-anesthetic dental cleaning for dogs.
After 2 years of non-anesthetic dentals, our dog turned out not to be a candidate for a non-anesthetic anymore.
A dental procedure under anesthesia was the only option to diagnose the condition of his gums, take X- rays and clean his teeth.
    We decided to proceed.
A few hours after my dog gets admitted for the procedure; a doctor calls me with the news that 21 teeth have to be extracted from his mouth (pretty much every single one).
We have denied the removal, and the vet threatened us that our dog is in an imminent danger of death and that they won't be responsible for his health if we do not agree to their medical advice.
We have decided to change the veterinarian to the one we can trust won't hurt our dog just to make some extra money.

We had to say goodbye to our sweet boy Trey last week. He was 16 years old. He’s been a patient of the Vets at Salty paws for 5 years. The staff at Salty Paws was so good, kind, compassionate and understanding of our pain. His doctor treating him was Dr Coffey. All the techs and Dr. Rogers came in to say goodbye. They even brought Trey a little plate of treats. I can’t say enough about how great the staff at Salty Paws are. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

Called today to make an appointment. Person answering phone asked if I had been there before. When I said I couldn't remember she responded "How do you not know if you've been here before?" and then hung up on me. If she had bothered to ask why I couldn't remember, I would have told her it's because I'm 82 years old and my memory isn't as good as it used to be. At least I know now what a poorly run business Salty Paws it is. Im sure that her rudeness saved me from a far worse experience.

Hands down the best vet. I have Great Danes and they do not like being out of the house. Entering the vet is the best part, you call and give them your spot marked by sea creatures. They come out and they take us in to a gate that leads into a private room. This is the best idea for a vet that I’ve seen. No stress on my dogs and I don’t have to fight a 167 lb Great Dane in a busy waiting room. Then the staff is absolutely amazing, I don’t see my self ever going to another vet again. And Loki says thanks for all of the snacks

Refuses to take fecal sample, and other life saving measures for dogs. Vet actually scares my dogs, making them panic. Vet not nice to me, or my pets.

There will never be enough words to express how incredible this entire team of people are. I am a scholar, who studies interpersonal violence and teaches on trauma-informed care and that is the way that I would describe the manner in which they treat every single one of my pets. They call it fear free, but it’s the same idea and it’s so beautiful to witness. Not only are they compassionate towards the animals, but they are compassionate towards you as a pet parent, addressing all of your worries and concerns with grace and humor and kindness. I hope I never have to leave this area because I don’t think I could ever replace these veterinarians and their team.

After 5 years of loving this vet venue, we were treated very rudely by new front desk people. We tried to book a new puppy appt for our rescue pup. They said no. Our dog Rocky still goes to them but is healthy. They said Vets are too busy to talk to owners of patients.
