She is absurdly intelligent but explains things in a way anyone can understand. She also is kind and has always treated my cats as individuals, rather than as a list of diagnoses/ailments. She has the ideal balance of tact and candor when there are tough discussions to be had and tough decisions to be made. All the people she has hired — vet techs as well as front office team members — are smart, compassionate, patient, and they return calls when they say they will. Dr. Mersereau and her team have routinely taken the time to educate me about my cats and point out things I may not have noticed that are important and shouldn’t be ignored.
