Came back to our winter home to find our 21 year old ac/heat pump was dead, no big surprise! On advice of several good neighbors in our community, we called Merrill’s and couldn’t be happier. Replaced old unit in less than a day, on schedule, did not try to add on or “up-sell”, and price was lower than expected based on averages for this area. Kyle was great to work with, explained that our ductwork and electrical service was in fine shape so no surprise additions to the job. The good surprise is that there are still honest, reputable small businesses out there that do exactly what they say and value customers. Merrill’s is definitely one!

We called Merrill's New Year's Eve morning, or furnace was not blowing heat, they sent out a tech this been with them since the '80s at 1:00 in the afternoon and at 1:30 we had heat, highly recommended!

We always used Merrills Heating and Cooling since the early 80s. The Origanal owner Merrill was honest and always fixes our AC quickly. Merrill retired and his daughter took over the business with her son. 2 years ago we were in our home state and our AC unit stopped working. So we called Merrill's and they put a new unit in ASAP. It worked great for a little over a year. Then is stopped and we called thinking it's was covered under a warranty. It wasn't. The technician charge us hundreds of dollars until we finally asked him to leave. We had to call Endurance Heating and Cooling. They put in a new unit with a 10 year warranty. I think Merrill would be appalled if he new what his company was doing to customers. My advice is to NOT do business with Merrill's.

At best, their service was always mediocre through the 3 years of our association. Additionally, if you have a serious problem on the weekend......don't expect even a return phone call until Monday morning, and then, you will not be given top priority.In my opinion, they either have too much business to be bothered with those non-near-by customers or place no value on customer loyalty.... especially since this was their installation and we've always maintained a maintenance contract with them.Whatever the case, we will no longer do business with them and.......do not recommend them.

Our air stopped working. One call to this business and Kyle arrived within 45 minutes. He explained what was wrong and investigated our warranty. The particular issue was not covered but the cost to fix was very fair and reasonable.Service: A/C system repair
