Bill the plumber was very professional and did a great job. I would ask for him for any of my plumbing needs. He was quick at the job and tidy. I would say he is a wonderful addition to Artic Air.

JUST WHEN I THOUGHT IT WAS "SAFE" to give DePriest my most recent 5-star rating, I learned that this company deserves yet even more high praise -- this time, for services performed last week, on July 25th. First, thanks to Drew for his on-site repair work. Next, even more gratitude to Barry-- in particular, for his very "creative" approach to repairing my a/c components via a proposal that suited my meager budget. A rare thing these days, when a service company pro is willing & able to think outside the max. profit "box". Suffice to say, DePriest came in at $8,200.00 less than the replacement charges quoted by a well-known competitive local service. Once again, it gives me great pleasure to commend and thank DePriest -- from the office staff reps, to the repair techs, to the company execs. Moreover, I'm more than happy to pass this good news on to other consumers.

Be aware! My elderly friend recently called them to come check her unit out, they told her she would need to replace the entire motor. After i found out, I told her I'd like to get a second opinion . So I did. When the other company came to diagnose the issue they were able to fix a small switch that had been cut . They didnt even charge much for the fix. Compared to the $750 Estimate that had been given her by dupree, this was substantial. I called the office to speak with the owner which handed me over to some girl whio works the there and she had the most nasty ,foul mouth, cursing me out. Then she proceeded to slam the phone down on me. All I can say about this company is they are very unprofessional! And I would always get a 2nd opinion when dealing with this company. Trust your instincts.

Mikey came out and diagnosed our unit in our rental. He was very thorough, professional and a great guy. We decided to have a new unit installed and James and Jack came out to install the unit. These two guys are great and work well together. Very meticulous and thorough with their job at hand. We love Depriest, over the years we've even talked our two neighbors into purchasing new units from them. Definitely the best in the business with great people working for them.

Made a service call for $155 as my AC was leaking. The tech was very nice and stayed around 45min to diagnose and repair. A small piece of insulation was wet and he took it out and told my husband he would come back to reinstall it for no additional charge. Even noted it on the invoice (no mention of additional charges). He was not directed to remove or do anything outside the scope of the service that day. Called back to get the small piece placed back as we were told, and received a call that I had to pay a fee of $150 to do so.I inquired why there would be an additional charge for something that was done on the $155 service call, and was told that charge was only for the service. Since I was not informed that removal was a further charge (I would have told the tech to leave it), something was done that was always going to cost additional fees without my knowledge. I could have replaced it for a minimal amount if needed or simply let it dry. Now I’m forced into replacing the small piece of insulation myself.The tech did his job, but I feel that the company was grossly overcharging their customers with hidden services and I’m not able to trust them any further. I already used them once before for yearly maintenance, but I’m going with another company now because of this. Shame on them.Service: HVAC system repair
