Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Destin Team Pedro Sauer

I've had 2 seminars with Carlos over the past 5 years up in NH and was able to finally make it down to Destin for a pop-in. Unfortunately I missed him as he was driving back from another seminar, however, I was able to join a full gi and free roll class with one of his instructors and some wonderful students. I felt right at home and had a blast! Great school, atmosphere and people. I wouldn't expect anything less from a school run by Carlos. If you are in the area, don't think twice about swinging in for a class or two! Look forward to training with Carlos in the near future.

Great place to learn Gracie Jiu Jitsu, Carlos Diaz is excellent (4th degree Gracie Jiu Jitsu Black Belt) at explaining moves and positions to new students as well as the more advanced students, wonderful place to learn. At this dojo you don’t have to wait 10 to 12 months to start rolling, when instructor Diaz thinks you are ready you can start rolling,(sparring with other students under the supervision of Diaz) you do not have to wait months possibly a year to start testing the moves you learn in class, it is one thing to learn a move, but very different to apply under resistance from another student, or you can choose not to roll at all, as rolling takes place... read full review

Carlos is one of the most kindest, considerate and generous people I know. He is smart and knows his craft. He has dedicated his life by excelling in his passion of Jiu Jitsu always with a smile, sharing his skillset training others. If I lived in Destin, I would go nowhere else. You get what you give.
