called 2 days in row trying to get an appointment due to pain and swelling in eye. they never returned call 1st day so I called again as soon as they opened. at 3pm finally got a call back from a very rude individual named holly who said her next appointment was 9 days from now. I again explained this was quite painful and she said well you can go to the er if you want. absolutely no customer service or compassion at all. only reason I was considering going was they accepted my insurance. really bad business.

When I called for my very first appointment, I had 10 weeks of Daily Contacts remaining. I could not get an appointment for 8 weeks and thought, wow-this place must be fantastic! I was wrong. Came in for contact lenses exam, had preliminary eye tests and was then brought to exam room where I asked if I should take my contacts out. Tech says you have contacts in? Now we have to do the tests again. Proceeded then to get eye exam. Neither Tech nor doctor had my currents lenses in their computer database which are state of the art and I have been wearing for two years. They ordered my sample lenses and a week later I picked up and couldn't see. Now I am down to one week of contacts and panicking. When tweaking they took me down to a level so low I could not see, was not a "tweak". I called and tracked the deland optical gal in Daytona and she said she would order me samples asap of my original prescription which is what I wanted. Meanwhile I went on 1800contacts and ordered a years supply of what I wanted with a substantial discount. The doctors office did not offer this, even though my old doc in The Villages did. I called two working days later and asked about my samples, I also asked for a printed RX and asked them to return call to 1800contqcts to confirm my RX. Later that day I received a shipping confirmation from 1800contacts and as of this review have just received product. Please note: I have not received my sample contacts requested a week and half prior from this doctor. I had to wear a pair of contacts from 2020 for just today until I received my order. Not a word from doctors office that my samples to "tide me over" have arrived. I will never go here again

I have been to this office at least eight times this year. I just had cataracts removed from both of my eyes. I didnt once wait to be seen longer than 5, maybe 10 minutes. Everyone i came in contact with, from the receptionist to the surgeon where very nice and were very happy to answer my questions. Everything they had to do to prepare me for surgery was explained to me before they did it. No surprises. I have also been seen twice at their Port Orange office and i would give them 5 stars as well.
