I cannot say enough good things about Brandyn. He is the kind of artist you can trust with your ideas, your confidence, your healing, and the art that will live on your body forever. I came to him with a cover up situation that felt completely hopeless. My arm had become a tattoo on top of another tattoo, and then that tattoo became something I did not even want to look at. Brandyn transformed it in a way I did not think was possible. He designed a blackout piece that fits the shape of my arm and looks intentional rather than patched over. Even unfinished, it gave me my confidence back immediately. He paid attention to how the blackout should flow into my hand, my wrist, and my existing work, which made the entire piece look designed for me rather than forced into place. During that process, he told me he would replace the tattoo we removed with something better, and he absolutely delivered. The smoking skull and the lyric ribbon have become one of my favorite pieces. I trusted his style, his lettering, and his judgement fully. He created something clean, meaningful, and beautifully composed. I also have two thigh pieces from him that feature tiger cubs for my children. The detail is unbelievable. He made one cub look slightly older to match the age difference between my kids, and he somehow captured the bright, wide look of my daughter in the younger one. The realism and emotion in that tattoo are incredible. Between the blackout, the cover up, the realism pieces, and the lettering, I have spent more than fifteen hours in his chair. I have never once felt uncomfortable or unsafe. He is professional and extremely talented, but he is also a genuinely good person. I have cried, vented, talked about life, and laughed through entire sessions with him. He is an amazing artist and also an amazing friend. Brandyn cares about how the tattoo will live on your body, not just how it looks in a photo. He will tell you if something will not suit you, and he will help you find what will. His eye for flow and detail is incredible, and his music taste makes the entire process even better. He is the only artist I will go to now. If you want someone who puts intention, honesty, and true artistry into every piece, trust him. He is phenomenal.
My daughter got her nose pierced and Kenny was the best!! He was so patient and gentle. Would highly recommend Modern Elegance!!
