So many times they just don’t care! They make you wait 2 weeks to get an mri then you arrange everything in your schedule to get there when they say. Then someone has dropped the ball. Oh sorry you’re not reapproved. But you took my $110 copay can you please return it? Oh sorry we don’t have a billing dept here. We can always TAKE your money. But when we screw up we can’t REFUND your money in a timely fashion. Money over health. Sickening place.

My 2 year old busted his head open last night, waiting room was packed full of sick people. They put us in the packed waiting room for FIVE HOURS. People were shoulder to shoulder in these chairs and we had no option to wait outside because we would be skipped. All these people were being tested for flu, covid, strep, etc.. meanwhile my child isn’t even sick being exposed to all of these illnesses. There should be a fast track for people that truly need to be at the er. Or atleast a separate area for people that aren’t sick. 😬 the dr was wonderful! But the nurse that roomed us told me that’s what I get for going to the emergency room when I complained. I’m not sure what else I could have done besides maybe stitch him up myself with some sewing thread at home or something.. seriously?!

I recently completed a series of Physical Therapy treatments at AdventHealth Sports Med and Rehab on N Stone St. in DeLand. My Physical Therapists, Marques and Kristy are both exceptional practitioners. Their encouragement, expertise, and their ability to customize my therapy program day to day, contributed greatly to my successes. The entire staff was cheerful and accommodating. I am grateful to have had my therapy at this facility and highly recommend that others seek out their services.

They were very kind and patient with me. very thorough. My nurse in the ER, Darlene, was wonderful. We came down from GA for Rockville and of course, I got sick. We have Advent at home and I honestly would go anywhere but there. So glad DeLand is so much better.

Here now, been here an hour. Had an EKG and sitting in the waiting room with severe chest pains, tingling down the left arm and hand with pain as well & just waiting for my urine & blood test to be done. I’ve never heard of sitting in a waiting room with severe chest pains even after an ekg. There is absolutely no monitoring at all. Finally got to the bank at 7/8 they were going to release me after one more lab except I pushed for my heart to be monitored. So they monitored it while we waited on the blood work and got me into a room like 8:30/9 ish. My heart was dipping into the 30’s. I was released at 10:30. It was awful and to top It off being a hospital there was absolutely no soap on the bathroom to wash hands. How many were unable to wash their hands?? I opened the door and said can I please get soap and was given an almost empty bottle hanging on the wall for the staff to use…
