UHealth at Deerfield is a medical facility that provides excellent care to its patients. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, making patients feel less stressed during their visits. However, there have been some issues with billing, particularly with "in-hospital billing" for routine outpatient services. One patient was surprised with a $900 bill for an MRI and x-ray, despite being told it would be a $25 copay. This experience led to a complaint being filed with state health services. Despite this issue, the facility has a reputation for providing good care, with patients praising the staff's pleasant demeanor and efficient appointments. With estimates now being provided for upcoming appointments, patients can better plan their expenses. Overall, UHealth at Deerfield is a good medical institution, but patients should be aware of the potential for unexpected billing costs.
I'm giving these guys three stars because I had two very good technicians and I also had a reaction in the MRI and their intervention was StellerBut I can't give them more than three stars because of in hospital billing and they took advantage of me as a patient unfamiliar with what they call "in hospital billing" when I thought it would be a simple copay..I'm a veteran who usually gets his care from the VA but I went to um for a second opinion on SCI. I sought out Dr Barth green who is one of the best in the country and headed up the Miami project when it started a few decades ago. The entire staff here have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. From the front desk to Dr. Franzmann and her PA Martha. Everyone is always in a great mood and just nice to deal with. Never a wait for my appointments and they always give you the attention you need. I can’t happier having chosen UM to treat my issue. They went above and beyond to take care of me. Hopefully you won’t need to use the services here but if you do please chose UM.
What an incredible team of physical therapists. Ive never felt ive been so cared about by any physician before. This team really cares about you and helping you.
