For a Hilton and the prices charged it is disappointing.Very pricey food and drink items in bar and restaurants. Elevators broken, only 1 set of stairs far from lobby and broken elevators. Somewhat clean, very very poor maintenance of property, seems like owners just doing a money grab. Safety items overlooked, painting needed, tiles missing, rusty, plumbing poor-faucets didnt work right...more. I will say the room was decent and the housekeeping was awesome, so we were pleased with that. Not the hotel, but thebeach is not good, eroded, needs sand, poor maintenance by the State there.
If you can get a room with a ship price it worth it. First time visiting Daytona, I went with my husband and even when we were aware that the hotel didn’t have good reviews in comparison with others in the area, we like the location of this one. Since we got to the hotel the service in the front desk was poor. We went to the room and it has a beautiful view not that you sit and enjoy it. The room definitely needs updates and the bed and pillows were awful. The amenities were decent but very difficult to use the hot tub because a lot of kids playing there. We were packing our things and at 10 am the cleaning ladies knock the door literally one time and open the door....read full review
Not a Hilton. Motel 6 rooms. Maybe older. Hilton member for years never smelt a hotel so aged. Hardrock down the street. Same price, 10 times as nice.Noteworthy details: There is an ocean.
