About Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort
Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort offers a great location with stunning ocean views and easy access to shopping and restaurants. Guests can enjoy comfortable rooms featuring double beds, coffee makers, refrigerators, and nearby ice machines. While the rooms are spacious, they are noted to be a bit outdated and could use a refresh. Some rooms have security issues, such as sliding doors that don't lock properly. The professional staff contributes to a pleasant stay, but the overall quality may not meet expectations for the Hilton brand. Recent reviews highlight that the hotel can be busy, with long check-in lines and wait times at elevators. Some elevators on the north tower side only had two working units, causing delays. Room issues, like AC malfunctions and sliding glass doors that don’t fully close, have been reported, along with concerns about outdated decor and maintenance problems like mold in showers and dusty fixtures. Parking costs $35, and parking lot monitoring seems limited at night. The hotel is close to restaurants and local activities, with loud music and fireworks sometimes disturbing light sleepers. The breakfast offered at the hotel restaurant was considered overpriced and not very tasty, though it was sometimes complimentary. Pools are enjoyable, but floors can get very hot, especially at the north tower, posing a burn risk for barefoot walking. Pet owners should be cautious, as some guests reported flea bites. Overall, the hotel is suitable for those looking to enjoy the beach and local events rather than spending much time in the room. The valet parking service for dining is praised for being excellent, and staff generally receive positive comments. However, some guests feel that maintenance issues and outdated room conditions detract from the Hilton experience.
Having visited many Hilton hotels and affiliates, this experience was a big disappointment. I had made a reservation for a 2 queen beds rooms, but the decided to change it to a king. Being a Diamond member we have always been able to make changes. At this hotel we were told we could only do it at check in, it was a convention weekend, so by the time we arrived every king bed room was sold out. The hotel needs a lot of maintenance, our sheets had stains, the shower handle comes off. Ripped shower curtain. Light fixtures rusted. Dirty carpets with lots of garbage. One elevator was out for the entire time we stayed.
We went to the bar the first night, ordered pretzels...read full review
Had wonderful time. It's a beautiful hotel, as far as outside, lobby, halls and pool. Our room the carpet could use an up grade, and couple of others. These pictures speak for themselves. Rust
The hotel is very out dated and not worth the amount of money paid. My room didn’t have a microwave and the refrigerator was a cooler not a real fridge. It’s the Hilton I have stayed in that didn’t serve free breakfast. When you call the customer service to get things fixed is absolutely awful. Good luck getting through if you call the hotel.
