I am honestly in shock that this place has any good reviews. With the exception of the receptionist being a sweetheart. I went here and got extensions and overpaid out the ass. I also sat there for 6 hours getting my ktips ripped out of my head when it’s a 45 minute process and had to pay extra because it took longer (was only told this AFTER it was done, the process taking so long was blamed on the previous stylist and how she put them in, even though for the last 7 years I’ve sat beside her getting my hair done by my own stylist who is on maternity leave and never saw someone leave unhappy or sit in her chair more than 4 hours for ANY service) and I do have a cosmetology lisence (unlike the salon owner herself) so I’m not a dummy. But, I was to keep going here. Because it was red flag after red flag. The first red flag being that I had to go without extensions in my hair because of Chinese new year, It would take my extensions three weeks to come and then I still had to pay 150 more because then they said they had to go through a third-party because they still wouldn’t be there in time. Like what do you mean a third-party? You were already going through a third-party if it was going to take three weeks for you to get the extensions because everywhere is local you can pay $50 and get them overnight shipped. Every time I blinked, it was having to pay extra for one thing or another. I hated my hair color, and I’m the most non confrontational person but tried to make that clear. The only reason I went back the second time was because I thought she could fix the color but instead I left looking the exact same. Then, I got a blow out at a salon in Fort Lauderdale (the top rated blow dry bar on yelp) And the woman just so happened to ask when I had my extensions installed because they were very loose, And she was shocked when I told her the week before. And considering I paid $1000 for a move up, No one should be telling me that a week after I got my hair done. So, I made an appointment and went back to the previous salon that I had always went too, And our plan was to salvage the hair extensions that I had in my hair and fix my color. They took the hair extensions out of my hair. And all the girls who work there were looking at the extensions in awe because there was marker on them. They asked how much I paid for them and I told them it was about 3000 in total With the appointment (This is not even including the move up) And they said yeah sorry to tell you this, but this is not what you paid for. These are not the extensions that you bought. These are women who have been doing hair a decade before this salon even opened. So, Obviously, there was no way to salvage these extensions, considering they were already scraps to begin with. So I had to pay to get them taken out then I had to buy a new hair , get my hair recolored. My husband obviously was pissed beyond belief and disputed the charge with American Express. But because the stylist sent American Express a screenshot of our conversation from the exact same week I got my hair done, asking me how I liked my hair and at the time I had no idea that I had scraps in my head (because at that time it was the color I didn’t like, the extensions themselves seemed to be installed fine) We lost the dispute. But, I was scammed, I was lied to, The stylist reached out to other people, but not once to me. Same for the salon owner. But please know that I will take you to court before I lose this dispute. And I don’t have to remind you who signed my father’s paychecks. Were the secrets that I’ve learned from previous women who have worked there. Such as another salon owning rights to color in that plaza. I am pissed beyond belief.

Same amazing service, I appreciated the extra care in helping me get out of the salon with pouring rain. My makeup lasted all night and so did my hair...even the next day the curls were still present. Will be back again :)

Lauren somehow always knows exactly what I want even when I can’t explain it myself 😂🤍 Every single time I leave her chair I feel more confident, refreshed, and obsessed with my hair. My experiences at Alchemy Park have always been lovely. I have had a keratin treatment done at least half a dozen times. Several different people have done my hair and each time has been excellent. The salon itself is calm and quiet. The atmosphere is inviting.
