I decided to change my hair color, and I’m so happy with the result! Alex, my hairstylist, was amazing from the very beginning. He listened to exactly what I wanted, gave me professional advice, and the outcome was even better than I imagined.
The color turned out vibrant, even, and super flattering for my skin tone. On top of that, the service was excellent!! Alex is kind, patient, and very detail-oriented. You can really tell he loves what he does, and it shows in his work.

Today I decided to come in for a consultation with Alex, and was left very disappointed. As soon as I sat down, he asked me if I dyed my hair black and I told him no. He had wide eyes as if he didn’t believe me, and proceeded to ask me where I was from. To me that is so unnecessary and unprofessional to ask. I told him I was Middle Eastern, and his attitude appeared to immediately change and seemed like he had no interest in achieving my goal. I understand I have dark hair and it may take some sessions, and I showed him my reference photo, attached, and emphasized I wanted NO grey tones and wanted to go completely blonde with some brown and root at the top. However, I was told it is completely impossible to do.
He showed me a photo of one of his quote “Iranian” clients with an ASHY balayage and told me that was all he could do for me. I told him that the photo shows black at the top and then blonde on the bottom with no ash, and he said that the black in the attached photo is just a shadow??? Like what shadow?? Her roots are visibly BLACK.
I figured I would just go elsewhere with a more talented hair stylist who can transform someone’s dream hair, but he really just lost Franz a returning customer.

I get my hair done 2 times a year because I haven’t found a stylist to trust my hair to! And I went to Franz Hair Studio and Alex did my hair he is amazing he gave me the idea to not color my hair dark because it will change the color of my hair to reddish colors and I listen to him only did it on the back! I loved my highlights and how he took care of me! Very talkative kind warm and friendly! Also the salon staff was great! Very attentive and nice! I recommend Alex with my eyes closed if you are really picky and looking for a hair makeover!

I had an appointment today for 10AM mind you I called on Monday to make this appointment.. I got reminder texts and confirmed my appointment yesterday. I showed up on time for my appointment and waited over 15 minutes, called over 5 times, and nobody was there or answering my calls. I have a trip today and needed to get my hair done prior to leaving today. Very disappointing and I will not be booking again. Very unprofessional.
