Amazing place for my family to train. The instructors know how to train and work with every type of kid. They can help a wild kid with discipline and bring the shy introvert out of their shell. I have seen my children blossom since training here.The adult classes are challenging, too. The instructors take the time to not only push your limits but also teach great technique too.I trained for many years in New York and compared many schools in the area when I wanted to resume training. This place is top notch and I highly recommend you to call them and try a class.

For nearly six years, American Dragon was my home away from home. On the hardest days, this would be the place I would run to knowing the entire staff and all the students would be uplifting and supportive. I have been away at college for two years and have missed American Dragon every single day. I have tried to find locations to train at near my University, but no place compares to the atmosphere and training style that American Dragon shares. Sifu Neil once told me, "Martial arts is not a sport, it is a lifestyle" and I have lived by this every day since.

American Dragon Martial Arts Academy is a true gem within the community. The family atmosphere and excellent martial arts training program makes this academy standout. The trainers truly care about their students and are always encouraging them to do their best. My son started here at the age of 3, seven years later he still enjoys it and looks forward to attending classes. His increased self esteem, confidence and focus is noticeable to many. I highly recommend this academy and will continue to do so!!

Our family has been attending American Dragon Martial Arts Academy since mid 2018 with my oldest son in their Little Dragons program in order to develop his focus, confidence and self defense skills. He loved it so much that since that time my youngest son started in the program as well as my husband and I! The family environment, dedication to their values and overall approach to marital arts makes this Academy stand out above the rest. I can’t recommend the team at American Dragon enough!

I placed my son in this school last year due to his self confidence issues. It was the best decision I ever made. American Dragon Martial Arts Academy is a true family. They take their time and train their students of the true essence of Martial Arts. They hold everyone accountable and make their students earn each belt which in turn, gives the student a higher sense of self esteem. My son’s confidence and self discipline has increased so much. The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched they must be felt with the heart.The American Dragon Martial Arts Academy motivates entire families to believe in the Black Belt Spirit which is felt in the heart of each and every student. The Academy is a family orientated establishment that represents and embodies the most important lessons in life: Honesty, integrity, assist and support others, determination, purpose, respect and priorities. The Academy insures a family atmosphere with all of their special events.I have been proud to be part of American Dragon for the past six or seven years, when I signed up my grandson, Bryan, three years later I signed up my grand daughter Brailyn and another grandson Marcus. I am so excited to say that I just signed up my fourth grandchild William. The Academy has with no doubt instilled Confidence in them, and most of all they believe in themselves. I believe that the true reason is the exceptional owners and instructors that work with our precious children. A shout out to Sifu Helena, Mr. Thompson, and Mrs. Christman, and thank you for everything you do to make life a little better for each of the students.

I've been studying at ADMAA for 2 years and the staff as well as the other students are my other family. It's the only school in south Florida certified to teach Jeet Kune Do, the fighting science developed by Bruce Lee. They train all ages and levels and even families can train together. I'm over forty and my time hear has given me more confidence in several aspects of my life. Highly recommended

I discovered this martial arts school some years ago when I was searching for a place for my young daughter to study. I had some experience in the martial arts which is why I passed other places by. I ddn't want a sports school but rather a traditional martial arts training program which would teach her self defense while not being abusive or offensive. Dr. Hackworth and his staff are incredible both with children and adults. I researched his background and there is no one to match his experience or qualifications. I never regretted my decision once. My daughter not only obtained three black belts over the years but it helped get her into Cornell where she joined their Tae Kwon do team for a while. The adult Hapkido class is nothing short of amazing for men and women alike. It not a macho push up challenge school but rather a take it as you can type of educational program for military style self defense. Best choice I ever made
