The guy at the front desk is really nice, but Rachel Shlomov has zero bedside manner. She's horrible... no personality and no communication. I will never go back.

After 5 years of searching for the right eye doctor I am more than pleased to have met Dr Rachel Shlomov at Edward Beiner at Merrick in Coral Gables. Her follow up to a recent surgery was outstanding! 6 Stars is not enough. Best in Miami! RG.

This is the best eye specialists around! My husband and I drive all the way there from Miami Beach, Daniele, mark and dr Rachael Shlomov are 1st class!! They aim to please!! U will not be disappointed!!Great exam and beautiful selection of glasses. They spend a lot of time with you.❤️ I made a mistake and spelled Daniel’s name wrong. His name was Daniel , not Danielle.!!!!!

I went to visit Dr. Celina Ruiz for an annual eye exam, and this was by far the best eye exam experience I’ve ever had in my 31 years. She was so nice and had a wonderful sense of humor, putting you at ease. She was kind and patient in explaining how conditions I had worked, how prescriptions were actually determined, how technology was used, and why she recommended what she recommended. She made me realize I had been using a prescription that was too high for me and should lower it a bit. I’m looking forward to testing my new prescription.Also a lot of great technology was used which is important to me! I personally hate the eye dilation process as well as the machine that gets very close to your eye and puffs air into it. At this practice you don’t need to undergo either as they have a machine that does an eye scan to determine this. It was all done in the blink of an eye. Highly recommend!

Dr. Ruiz was amazing and both Edward and Daniel did a great job walking me through the various frames. Even found a way to make my insurance work when I had lost all hope that it would be taken. Great location, great team, and a great atmosphere.

Doctor Ruiz is awesome. I found her using my insurance company's website and went in not knowing how the appointment would go. She is super helpful, very kind, and has a great team behind her. I highly recommend seeing her for any eye doctor needs. I look forward to seeing her again!

I feel bad to review this place as 1 star but I absolutely cannot stand being disrespected and turned away as a potential costumer, I was here earlier today 4-5 pm with my boyfriend and we were looking for Cartier glasses. The gentleman working at the desk asked if we needed help and my boyfriend asked for Cartier glasses.He then brings us sunglasses and my boyfriend says oh not those Cartiers, this guy that’s helping us goes “ you mean Cartier “ (my boyfriend is also wearing Cartier glasses who cares but come on) very passive aggressively who cares about the pronunciation(my boyfriend is American by the way) I guess he got offended by the look on my boyfriends face because he pulled out SUNGLASSES ? Then he goes “ you want the ones everyone’s got huh” very weird guy …after that he sat back down and went back on his phone he wasn’t helpful at all only helped us see his true colors , I’m embarrassed for how he acted it was very uncomfortable.
