My daughter decided to take the SAT one last time. Her school had a special testing date just for them at the end of October. She wanted to try to push to go from the 1300s into the 1400s. I was hoping to find a company or tutor that could give her five to six weeks of solid test prep. We had used another company before Amikka learning. They did help her, and her score did increase but the schedule was a bit intense for my daughter to handle in September and October while her rigorous school work was also being requested. That service had weekly group classes, weekly private tutoring (all virtual), homework every night and tests to take regularly. Which is all understandable. But it was heavy for what we needed in this quick space of time. I was looking for quality one-on-one instruction because as an educator I understand that far more than can be covered one on one than in a group class. Somehow I found Amikka learning. I had a great conversation with Christian. I chatted with my daughter and she agreed to the prep. Initially she wasn't sure she could do it along with her class work but I told her that Christian had assured me that they could make it work and she just needed to put her nose to the grindstone for about 6 weeks. She was assigned a tutor and they went to work with weekly one-on-one virtual classes and some homework. The result was going from 1330 in August to starting test prep with Amikka the last week of September, and my daughter getting a 1460 in October! Amikka learning literally changed my child's positioning as a competitive student in the college application process. Let me also add that I found their prices so reasonable! SAT prep costs money. But Amikka was not as expensive as the other places and we got incredible results. Every cent I paid was worth it.
