I recently (April 2nd, 2026) had to spend a few days here. I fractured my ankle and the staff from security to housekeeping were amazing. My ER doctor and nurses were so good to me and kept me call. My ortho surgeon and the nurses and nurse techs were so great to me. Answering all of my questions and making my stay during my birthday, a memorable one. Honorable shout outs to: Leslie (ER nurse), Arnell- PT (he will sing you happy birthday!), Karmine and Brie in pre-op, Dr. Gomez (general doctor), Dr. Smith (ortho), Ashton and Jon (OT/PT rehab), Erin- nurse, and my dude Carlos. He watched me take my first “hop” and had my back, literally. And Audrey, my longest nurse. My ultra sound tech and my CT techs, you all were phenomenal too. I cannot thank them all enough or Plant Morton hospital for taking their values and statement seriously to the heart. You made this Michigander feel right at home. Thank you for unwavering support in the medical field. You are the best of the best down there in Clearwater.
I recently had a knee replacement at Morton Plant Hospital, and I can honestly say the level of care I received was outstanding from start to finish. Every interaction I had with the hospital staff was met with professionalism, kindness, and genuine concern. My pre-op nurses, Rachel and Sara, were incredibly comforting—not just for me, but for my wife as well. They took the time to ease our nerves and made sure we felt confident going into surgery. In recovery, Taylor was exceptional—attentive, compassionate, and always one step ahead in making sure I was comfortable. I also want to recognize Sydney from Orthotics, who went above and beyond to explain everything in detail, including what to expect during recovery. That level of communication made a huge difference. This entire team turned what could have been a very stressful and difficult day into a much more manageable and positive experience. I’m truly grateful for the care I received and would highly recommend Morton Plant Hospital to anyone in need of orthopedic care.
The hours spent prior to any surgery are stressful. During the prep for my hernia surgery, the staff at Morton Plant Hospital made it much less so. Without exception, everyone I spoke with was friendly, caring, and reassuring. I couldn't have asked for a better pre-surgery experience. The same was true for my post-surgery experience.
